PCT 5/13/17 – Day 10

Before you even start reading this blog post, huge shout out to my little sister for graduating college today!!!! You did it! I love you and miss you so much Emmers. Feeling old today. ❤️ 

16-17ish miles hiked today – (fire detour)/2,650 miles 

Water boy tried cowboy camping but it was too windy and cold on the ridge. He set up his tent in the middle of the night.
14 mile detour off trail. Lots of walking on roads and bike trails.

1.4 mile walk to a nearby General store with our new friend from Switzerland, Stefan. Sun chips and ice cream are where it’s at.
