PCT 6/27/17 – Day 55

The river flooded the trail for about a 1/4 mile. It’s 6AM and our feet could barely take it. SO COLD!
Water is loud and raging throughout Yosemite.
Bridge is out! Thankfully we found a safe place to ford.
We’ve seen 7 balloons since we started in Mexico. Thankfully this one was reachable to pack it out. It’s really sad seeing balloons in the backcountry – especially in the Sierras!
Jake testing the current before he helps his anxious wife cross.
It’s so easy to lose the trail in the snow. Tough stuff.
